The Southdale Residents Group Holiday Lights Contest is back agian this year. Dress up your house and yard with all the decorations and then let our community vote for the winner.
New this year — We have two prizes for the top TWO winners!
Here’s how it works:
- Sign Up: To enter, simply complete the registration form by December 20, 2025 to signal your intent to participate.
- Deck the Halls: Install your lights and decorations. Make sure your home is glowing and ready for its close-up!
- Photo Day: We’ll visit your home between December 26-28, 2025 to take a photo of your display. Please make sure your lights are on!
- Voting Begins: We’ll share an album of all entries on our Facebook page for voting. Voting will run from December 29, 2025 – January 4, 2026, so be sure to share the post with your friends and family to encourage them to vote for your home!
- How Votes are Counted: Votes will be based on the number of likes and interactions each photo receives. The photo with the most engagement will be declared the winner! Share our post far and wide to get more votes!
Important Notes:
- By entering the contest, you give the Southdale Residents Group permission to photograph your home and share the images (along with your address) on our website and social media pages.
- Be sure to spread the word and encourage your neighbours to participate too — the more, the merrier!
