The fall Southdale community garage sale during free weekend went so well, we thought we’d make it a spring event too.
The City of Winnipeg has two free weekends: once in the spring, and again in the fall. We’re creating a spring opportunity for community members to hold garage sales on the saturday of free weekend – May 9, 2026. The fall giveaway weekend is September 12 and 13, 2026.
